2. In brief

This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics services. Fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google or other third parties. We only process personal data if you contact us via the contact form or by email.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you visit the website, the server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type). This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and ensure its security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Netlify stores this data only as long as necessary for these purposes. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify.

Data may be transferred to the USA in this process. Netlify, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Netlify uses the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. More information: netlify.com/privacy.

4. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (name, email address and – optionally – company, phone number and your message) in order to answer your inquiry. Form data is received by our hosting provider's form service (Netlify Forms), stored there and forwarded to us by email. To protect against spam, Netlify checks submissions automatically, among other things using the Akismet service (Automattic Inc., USA).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to the conclusion of a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering inquiries). We delete your data, including the entries at Netlify, once your inquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Simply contact us using the details above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
